Tableside Feature Definitions

This page is the contractual reference for what is included in each Tableside plan. The Master Service Agreement may reference this page as the authoritative description of services. If you have questions, contact hello@tablesidepos.com.

1. Features Included in All Plans

The following features are available to all Tableside subscribers regardless of plan tier (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise):

  • Custom Website Design & Hosting. A mobile-responsive, ADA-compliant website custom-branded to the restaurant. Hosted and maintained by Tableside with 99.9% uptime. Loads in under 2 seconds.
  • Smart Digital Menus. Mobile-optimized QR menus with offline caching, NFC tap backup, dietary filters, and branded URLs. Real-time updates via email or text — no dashboard login required. Physical PDFs not used.
  • AI Assistant (Basic). A 24/7 customer-facing chatbot that answers common questions about hours, menu items, dietary restrictions, parking, and reservations automatically.
  • Google Business Optimization. Initial setup and ongoing optimization of the restaurant's Google Business Profile for local search visibility.
  • Email/Text Menu Updates. Menu changes submitted by email or text are applied across all digital surfaces within minutes by the Tableside team.
  • Monthly Maintenance. Ongoing content updates, security patches, and performance monitoring.
  • 24/7 Support. Real-human support available around the clock via text or phone. Average response time under 10 minutes.

2. Additional Features — Professional Plan

The Professional plan includes everything in Starter, plus the following:

  • Advanced AI Assistant. An enhanced version of the AI assistant that learns the restaurant's specific voice, menu, and customer patterns over time. Provides more accurate and personalized responses.
  • Review Monitoring & Responses. Real-time monitoring of Google, Yelp, and other review platforms. AI drafts a response the moment a new review comes in. Restaurant approves each response until they're comfortable, then automation can be increased at their pace.
  • Content Studio. AI-powered tools to create and publish social media content from the Tableside dashboard — you're in the driver's seat. Supports Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business posts. The restaurant controls when and what to post; the AI handles caption writing, hashtags, and formatting on demand. (For fully automated, done-for-you content, see the Content Auto-Pilot add-on.)
  • Gift Cards (Included). Digital gift cards with custom denominations and email delivery. Balance tracking is automatic. (Available as an optional add-on on the Starter plan.)
  • Loyalty Program (Included). Points-based loyalty system with birthday automation and SMS/email marketing. Customer data is owned by the restaurant. (Available as an optional add-on on the Starter plan.)
  • Performance Dashboard. A live view of social media performance, ordering volume, loyalty engagement, review activity, and more. The dashboard adapts to the features in use.
  • Priority Support. Response time under 5 minutes, 24/7.
  • Multi-Location Management. Manage multiple restaurant locations from a single dashboard. Each location inherits brand voice, content calendar, and AI configuration automatically, with the flexibility to customize menus, hours, and specials per site. Additional locations are $10/month each.

3. Optional Add-Ons

The following add-ons are available on any plan at an additional monthly fee:

5. Setup Fees

A one-time setup fee covers website design, build, onboarding, and configuration of all enabled features.

6. Pricing Notes

  • Annual discount. Customers who pay annually receive a 15% discount on the monthly subscription rate. The Starter plan is $125/mo (billed $1,500/year); the Professional plan is $250/mo (billed $3,000/year).
  • No commissions. Tableside charges a flat monthly subscription. There are no revenue-share fees, no per-order commissions, and no percentage of sales. Online ordering revenue goes entirely to the restaurant.
  • Cancellation policy. Subscriptions are month-to-month after the setup period. Cancellation can be requested at any time by email with no early termination penalty. The restaurant retains ownership of all content, customer data, and their domain.
  • 90-day money-back guarantee. If Tableside is not delivering measurable results within 90 days, the setup fee will be refunded in full. No questions asked.
  • Additional locations. Each additional location on the Professional or Enterprise plan is $10/month. This covers hosting, maintenance, and support for the additional site. There is no setup fee for additional locations — the one-time setup fee covers the primary location only.
